Manager, Sales & Client Services
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Type – Permanent, Full Time
The Sales and Client Services Manager is responsible for sustaining and growing a highly-productive sales and client services team. The Sales and Client Services Manager is a strong leader, well-versed in management with demonstrated knowledge and application of the functions of planning, organizing and leading. The Sales and Client Manager will partner with other Managers to create a collaborative team that achieves long-term and consistent growth of Bromwich+Smith customer base, while implementing and executing business practices and goals.
+ Manage the operational effectiveness of the Sales and Client Services team which ultimately leads to new customer acquisition for Bromwich+Smith.
+ Develop and implement best practices and processes to ensure targets are achieved including but not limited to converting potential leads to new clients.
+ Monitor and report on sales ensuring the team is meeting or exceeding sales targets, providing feedback to the rest of management of areas of improvement.
+ Attract, engage and retain a fully functional team through positive and professional leadership, performance management, career development, progressive discipline, coaching and guiding that extend and/or enhance professional capabilities.
+ Drive individual and team metrics for high performance to ensure the team is positioned to create excellent customer experiences that support Bromwich+Smith’s strategic goals.
+ Maintain strong working relationship with all key stakeholders.
+ Monitor schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet operational objectives.
+ Adhere to a department budget and be accountable for KPI’s that include overall file counts, conversion ratios, quality and other metrics.
Critical Skills and Capabilities
+ Post-secondary education in business, marketing or related sales field with a minimum 5 years’ experience in the relevant field, with at least 5 years’ in a direct supervisory role.
+ Experience in management of a call centre environment (20+ staff), continuously improving a sales model and managing leads to obtain conversion success.
+ Capable of holding staff accountable while maintaining a supportive environment.
+ Articulate in developing, presenting and justifying resourcing requirements (support, capacity, training, etc.) including budgeting, forecasting and general workforce planning.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
+ Advanced customer relation and communication skills.

They will have a budget for their department and independence in achieving their goals as agreed to on a monthly/quarterly basis.
