Position: Full Stack Application Developer
Location: Calgary, AB
Type: Permanent, Full time
Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a Full Stack Application Developer who can work collaboratively with our growing, dedicated team of I.T. professionals. You will play a key role in supporting business process and technology improvements by designing and architecting n-tier solutions to integrate multiple technical systems and data sets using ETL (Export, Transform, Load) software. You will also participate in all aspects of basic daily helpdesk support, via ticket system.
Specific Duties + Responsibilities:
+ You will design software solutions such as webpages and applications following object-oriented methodologies;
+ You will integrate web services using RESTful API’s via JSON/XML languages;
+ You will build controls/widgets to assist in the collection of data and help develop automated workflows to reduce the monotony of specific business processes;
+ You will design and architect n-tier solutions to integrate multiple technical systems and data sets using ETL (Export, Transform, Load) software;
+ You will participate in all aspects basic daily support (via ticket system), rotational after hours, on call and weekend server update activities;
+ You will work closely with the I.T. Manager, Technical Team Lead and other business stakeholders to deliver a compassionate, client-centric experience;
+ You will attend daily scrums, project meetings and departmental meetings as required;
+ You produce quality and timely solutions every day.
+ You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field from an accredited institution;
+ You have at least four (4) years of software development experience;
+ You are organized, self-directed and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks;
+ You have strong communication skills oral, written and presentation;=
+ You possess strong teamwork skills;
+ You are able to participate in the rotational after-hours on-call duties in accordance with the business needs.
Required I.T. Knowledge/Experience:
+ ASP.NET / ADO.NET / .NET
+ SQL Server (SSRS/SSIS)
+ RESTful API
Nice to Have:
+ Windows 10, Server 2016 operating systems.
+ Visual Basic
+ ETL Integration Experience

The Location: This position based out of our new office in downtown Calgary, we are just steps from the beautiful Bow River and 2 blocks from Calgary’s c-train.
