Bromwich+Smith is currently seeking an FSRD Specialist, Final Statements of Receipts & Disbursements, to join our Insolvency Administration Team. The FSRD Specialist concentrates on closing the bankruptcy estate; preparing distributions to the Creditors, Trustee and the Client. The FSRD Specialist also provides reports to the Creditors, the Bankrupt Client and the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada (OSB) about the receipts and disbursements of the estate and upcoming Trustee discharge.
Key Accountabilities include:
+ Prepare FSRD reports monthly and adjust same based on recommendations;
+ Prepare and send notice of Trustee discharge to the stakeholders;
+ Conduct due diligence to ensure all information complies with the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act;
+ Prepare, review and send draft billing.
Knowledge & Skills:
+ You have a post-secondary degree in finance or related discipline;
+ You have at least 2 years of experience in a financial service/banking environment or related field;
+ You have experience in accounting, finance, analytics;
+ You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite;
+ Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
+ Insolvency experience would be considered an asset;
+ Good knowledge of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act;
+ Experience in using Insolvency Software would be considered an asset;
+ Completion of Insolvency Administrator Course would be considered an asset.
