Position: Debt Relief Specialist (9 open positions)

Location: Calgary, AB

Type: Permanent, Full time

Position Summary:

Due to our rapid growth, we are looking to add even more Debt Relief Specialists to our Calgary team who will be the first point of contact for individuals struggling with debt.  We are not a collection agency, nor do we lend money or cold call people. We provide options to help relieve the financial strain debt can have on our clients’ lives. You will be joining our dedicated client-centric sales team of Debt Relief Specialists. Each day, you receive telephone calls and internet inquiries from individuals that are ready to have a debt relief solution tailor-made for them.  Once a solution is determined, you share our company’s compelling value proposition to encourage clients to book an in-person appointment.

Specific Duties + Responsibilities:

+ You will conduct telephone consultations with individuals seeking debt relief by connecting with clients and normalizing the conversation regarding debt.

+ You are personable and engaging while identifying, gathering and verifying personal and financial information.

+ You exercise judgment to diagnose and recommend solutions.

+ You deliver a compassionate client-centric experience.

+ You produce quality and timely solutions every day.

+ You work with a team of dedicated individuals.

Minimum Requirements:

+ You hold a post-secondary college diploma or university education in business, finance or related field.

+ You have at least one (1) year of relevant work experience in either insolvency, credit counseling, financial advising, or banking.

+ You are results driven with experience in a sales environment delivering excellent client-centric solutions.  

+ You understand the difference between various personal financial products such as RRSPs, pensions, RESPs, car loans, and mortgages.

+ You navigate around technology efficiently and accurately.

+ Your oral and written fluency in English is exemplary.

+ You are able to work an 8-hour shift, 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM Monday to Thursday; 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Location: This position based out of our new office in downtown Calgary, we are just steps from the beautiful Bow River and 2 blocks from Calgary’s c-train.
