I don't know why I took so long to come forward for help. When I finally made the first step it started with a plea for help online by way of an email. I had a phone call back within 1 hour. Bank Consolidation Loan vs Consumer Proposal
Consolidation of all of your debt into one bank loan could be the right debt help option for you if you still have a good credit rating, significant assets to secure a loan and just need time to pay. However, unlike an interest free Consumer Proposal, where you consolidate and eliminate your debts based on what you can afford plus legally stop all creditor actions, when you consolidate with a bank consolidation loan you are still responsible for paying 100% of your credit card debt, tax debt and other debts as well, with interest.
